Do you dream of escape? To wake up one morning in a hut perched among the trees, any comfort, without noises other than those of nature? A detour to Pleyber-Christ, near Morlaix, is a must. At the domain of Treuscoat.
“It’s the project of a lifetime. Since Erwan and Isabelle Normand bought the 63-hectare estate, they haven’t been short of work. They moved in in 2016. Since then, the estate has continued to evolve. He became a recreation Park and a place of unusual accommodation.

Erwan Normand, 48, says:
I came across this domain for sale on the internet. I reinvested the sale of my business here, not far from Plouigneau, the village where I come from. We fell in love with this property. And I was a little tired of being on the go all the time. I wanted to see my teenagers grow up.

13 unusual accommodations
The couple moved into the premises in March 2016. They live in a 15th century manore century, in the heart of the estate. Which was previously private, therefore inaccessible to the population.
Today the property has 13 accommodations. About sixty people can stay there at the same time. All the houses are scattered around the estate and bear the names of Scottish towns.
It is possible to sleep in a yurt placed on the ground, with Nordic bath; in bubble hung in nets stretched in the trees; in tree houses and others perched. All these dwellings were built in such a way as to respect theenvironment. “Sustainable development is part of our convictions, and we have an agreement with the Region which helped us for our installation. The huts are, for example, equipped with phytopurification toilets and showers. “We ultimately want to be self-sufficient in energy resources, employment and continue to work with local actors for food. »

Treasure hunts, courses in the trees…
Because the place is not just a shelter. It is possible to come only for the 1,250m course2 nets stretched between the trees (Parcabout), treasure hunts, walks ponyin a horse-drawn carriage, mini golf… And to eat there.

What prices?
On the price side, count 120 euros per night for the bubble in the trees with breakfast (without toilets, you have to go to the toilet block), at 290 euros per treehouse four meters above the ground with two terraces, private Nordic bath heated over a wood fire, shower, toilets, breakfast and view of the paddocks.

Until now, the site was closing its doors out of season, this will no longer be the case. “We have added activities that you can do all the time, and we have requests for accommodation.
