Sorare NBA, the game for basketball fans
Sorare announced Tuesday, October 18, 2022 the addition of fantasy basketball. The NFT game originally centered on football and baseball is branching out into basketball. Like Sorare football and MLB, you have to collect licensed NFT cards of different NBA players. These cards allow you to earn points based on the actual performance of the players in your squad. At the end of each gameweek, the points of each player in the squad are accumulated and depending on your performance, you can earn rewards.

How to start on Sorare NBA?
To be able to play Sorare, it is mandatory to create an account. During registration, Sorare proposes a player to be selected among the best in the world.
Please choose your favorite player from those offered: Lebron James, Luka Doncic, James Harden, Donovan Mitchell and Giannis Antetokounmpo
This player is the “captain” of your team, it is the player who will probably bring the most points in your squad. Once chosen, Sorare offers you 19 other “common” (free) cards allowing you to play directly in free competitions (“Common Contender” & “Common Champion”) where rewards are at stake.
How to compose your team?
When selecting your team, you must select 5 players who each have a specific number of points according to the performance of their last matches. Each team has a points cap, specific to the competition in which the team is entered. Once this ceiling has been reached, it is impossible to add players to its squad.
Attention : you must have at least 2 real NBA teams in your squad for the team to be validated in the competition (it is impossible to compose its entire squad from a single real NBA team)
Compose your team in Sorare
As soon as you register, you can use all of your players through the competitions and training which, as on Sorare MLB or football, allows your cards not registered in other competitions to gain experience. Players with a lot of XP have a bonus on their final score, which allows them to make a difference in competitions.
How are player performances calculated?
Sorare NBA calculates player performance through a scoring system where actions on the field instantly translate into points for your team.
Warning: If one of your players plays several matches in a gameweek, then Sorare will choose his best performance.
Scoring system:
– Dot: 1 dot
– Rebound: 1.2 points
– Assist: 1.5 points
– Block: 3 points
– Interception: 3 points
– Ball loss: -2 points
– 3 points passed: 1 point
– Double Double: 1 point
– Triple-Double: 1 point
Each week has 2 gameweeks, the first starts on Monday and ends on Thursday. The second gameweek follows just after, from Thursday to Sunday.
What are the different types of cards?
There are 5 different types of cards in Sorare, 4 of which are tradable:
Not tradable, sellable or buyable
– Commune: unlimited / gray
Tradable, Available in Markets and Rewards
– Limited: 5,000 – yellow / gold
– Rare: 1,000 – Red
– Super rare: 100 – blue
– Single: 1 – purple

How do I collect or trade Sorare NBA cards?
– The market for new cards: every day, Sorare puts NBA player cards up for sale at auction. These cards have no experience level since they have never been used in competitions. You have to keep an eye on the auctions since you will have several times the opportunity to collect good cards.
– Sell or trade: you can list your players on the manager sale market for a price that you set. In this market, you can also directly buy cards that interest you. Do not forget that you can offer trades or offers of your choice for all cards in the game.
