The Denver Broncos were looking for a quarterback. They would have liked to recruit star Aaron Rodgers, but he chose to stay with the Green Bay Packers. Next season, however, Denver’s offense will look great as it will be led by Russell Wilson, according to NFL.com reporters Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero (transfers can’t be officially announced until March 16).

At 33, Wilson left the Seattle Seahawks where he had been playing since 2012 and his arrival in the NFL. He notably won the Super Bowl in 2014 and was an unfortunate finalist a year later. But, over the years, Seattle has been unable to find its way back to the super final.

If the Seahawks lose their star quarterback (nine times selected for the Pro Bowl, the NFL All Star Game), they recover, in return, two first round draft picks, two second rounds, a fifth round and three players from Denver: quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant and defensive tackle Shelby Harris.
