Based in Zurich, Ms. Whittaker has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry and has specialized in sustainable investing since 2007. She leads an international team of 18 experts who contribute to all of Robeco’s strategies. , through their research on the impact of ESG factors on business fundamentals and collaborating in the development of the sustainable investment frameworks used within Robeco. Rachel Whittaker joined Robeco in 2015 as Senior Investment Analyst, a position she will hold until 2017. In 2021, she returns to Robeco to lead the international team in charge of sustainable investment research. In between, she served as Sustainable Investing Strategist and then Head of Zurich’s Sustainable Investing Team in the Office of the Chief Investment Officer of UBS’s Wealth Management business. Prior to joining Robeco in 2015, she held positions in sustainable investing at Vontobel Asset Management and Mercer’s investment advisory business in London. She began her career as a sell-side equity analyst. Rachel earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge and a Masters in Environmental Management from the University of Surrey in the UK. She holds the CFA® and has dual British and Swiss nationality.
