Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp agreed to a five-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday.

This means that he is under contract with the defending champions for the next five years, for a total sum of $110 million, including $75 million guaranteed, which ranks him among the highest paid receivers in the NFL. The three-year extension in itself brings him $78.5 million.

This news comes just 48 hours after Aaron Donald’s signing made him the highest-paid defensive player in history.

Kupp passed for 92 yards on eight receptions and scored two touchdowns, including the one that gave the Rams the Grand Finals victory. In the 4th quarter with 1:25 to play, Kupp caught a pass from Matthew Stafford to restore the Rams’ three-point lead.

Kupp has scored at least one touchdown in each of the Rams’ four playoff games. He became the second receiver to achieve the feat of catching four touchdowns in four straight playoff games, after Larry Fitzgerald.

The Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl LVI in February.
