Bell Media and the National Football League (NFL) today announced the long-term expansion of their comprehensive media rights agreement. Under this new agreement, Bell Media remains the exclusive broadcast partner for NFL games in Canada.

From preseason games to the Super Bowl, Canadian football fans can watch NFL games live on Bell Media platforms, including RDS, TSN, CTV and CTV2. They also have access to live game streams on the networks’ official websites and apps as well as through RDS Direct and TSN Direct subscriptions.

The new, expanded deal includes coverage of all NFL games played internationally, and RDS will also continue to feature NFL Red Zone every Sunday afternoon.

The new multi-year agreement includes :

  • the show’s regular season games THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL;
  • regular season games aired on Sunday at 1 p.m.;
  • regular season games aired on Sunday at 4 p.m.;
  • the show’s regular season games SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL;
  • the show’s regular season games MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALLincluding new games produced by ABC;
  • the show NFL REDZONEairing every Sunday starting at 1 p.m., when football fans can follow what’s happening on the field all over the NFL every time a team approaches the pay zone;
  • all matches played internationallyincluding recently announced live matches from Germany;
  • all playoff games;
  • the super-bowlthe most watched TV event in Canada.

As part of the agreement between Bell Media and the NFL, and as the main host of football broadcasts in Canada, RDS remains the country’s leading source of French-language information on the NFL, with the SPORTS newscast 30 at the controls.

Bell Media is the exclusive broadcast partner for NFL games in Canada. RDS and TSN have televised NFL games since 1991 and 1987 respectively.
