In the Pays de la Loire, in Nort-sur-Erdre, the family business Bioret Agri has been innovating in the heart of its territory by offering since 1993 mattresses specifically intended for cows. In order to improve breeding conditions, the comfort of cows in their stalls (individual resting places) and thus optimize their milk production, the Bioret family has been offering its own innovation for nearly 30 years, inspired by playgrounds for children and first developed with the means at hand, from truck tarpaulins.
Supported by Bpifrance for several years, Bioret-Agri has been able to benefit from the necessary funds to develop peacefully, thanks to specific aid and various support courses, such as the regional SME accelerator or the agro-ecological accelerator. Jean-Vincent Bioret, its managing director, remembers the beginnings of his takeover of the family business when he was 26 years old: “ Without Bpifrance, we would not have succeeded in having such rapid and simple growth.
