The matches follow each other and look alike for Victor Wembanyama. Back after his short adventure across the Atlantic with his teammates, the Frenchman was in particularly good shape this Saturday evening to offer victory to his team. Despite a complicated start, Wemby made the highlights rain…
Sparkling on the side of Las Vegas at the beginning of October, with two crazy performances, Victor Wembanyama has finally made his return to France. This Saturday evening, the Metropolitans 92 had an appointment at Antarès to face Le Mans. A very nice meeting which gave rise to enormous suspense after 45 minutes. Indeed, an extension was necessary to decide between the two teams, with a victory of the Mets on the score of 94-89.
Victor Wembanyama’s work continues!
Unsurprisingly, Victor as often made the difference. He finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks, despite a difficult first half. Much like his encounters in Las Vegas, Wemby was in diesel mode when it came time to take on MSB. Sometimes risky shots, an ugly 2/8 shooting, the Frenchman did not have the best first period of his career.
That was a terrible first half by Victor Wembanyama, his first one of the season.
Was a step behind on defense, airballed a ton of tough 3s on offense, and this post up attempt was… rough.
4 Points on 2-8 shoots. Hope he bounces back in the 2nd half. pic.twitter.com/ewy6OCYX1m

A pretty horrible first half for Victor Wembanyama, his first of the season. A notch behind in defense, dropped several three-point airballs in attack, and this attempt at the post up was… complicated. 4 points at 2/8 shooting. I hope he bounces back in the second half.
Luckily, that’s exactly what Victor did. He took advantage of the half-time to get back into his match in order to rectify the situation. Literally. The Mets emerged victorious, while Wembanyama continued to shock observers across the Atlantic with his prowess. On Twitter, Jonathan Givony, ESPN’s draft expert, no longer even hesitates to qualify him as number 1 for next June.
Future No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama was unreal again today. 24 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and the important road win in OT versus previously undefeated Le Mans, including plenty of dunks, 3s and tremendous defensive plays. +17 in a narrow win. pic.twitter.com/AmfHTjgGga

Victor Wembanyama has not changed his habits, even after his return from the US. The Frenchman continues his work with the Mets, the proof with this great victory over Le Mans, in a context that is moreover relatively difficult. Doubt is no longer allowed for Wemby…
