Do you stand out for your ability to develop solid networks of partners? Have you developed extensive expertise in establishing creative, innovative, comprehensive and targeted attraction and recruitment strategies? We need you to put in place a new approach and new tools in talent attraction.

Summary of functions

Reporting to the Head of Staffing and Recruitment, you develop and maintain partnerships with various groups present in the job market, including educational institutions, employability organizations and organizations representing various groups from diversity. In collaboration with partners, you propose and implement various projects to attract and recruit talent within the City of Gatineau.

In close collaboration with the team of HR advisors in staffing and recruitment, you participate in the development of a global and innovative attraction strategy based on the current and future needs of the City. More specifically, you develop targeted and innovative recruitment and posting strategies, with a view to filling positions for all municipal services. You participate in the development of promotional campaigns set up to counter the effects of labor shortages or the emerging needs of new municipal projects. In collaboration with the Communications Department, you maintain the city’s visibility on the job market, in particular through the use of various technologies and social networks. You monitor best practices in talent attraction, ensure a match with the City’s needs and transfer your knowledge to the team.

You measure the relevance of participating in events, evaluate their impact, recommend the degree of involvement to bring them and establish a calendar of corporate events. Finally, you coordinate the hiring of interns for the various departments.

Requirements and skills sought

– Possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources, communication, marketing, administration, industrial relations or in a relevant field;

– Possess three years of relevant experience in similar functions. Any combination of training or experience deemed equivalent will be considered;

– Demonstrate skills in developing partnerships and being on the lookout for the latest trends in terms of human resources marketing;

– Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for travel.

According to class 3 of the salary scale for management employees, ie from $80,502 to $105,924.
