The Patrimonia Lounge will take place from September 29 to 30 at the Congress Center in Lyon. EcoNetwork Business, partner of the event, interviewed Serge Florentin, editorial director of the Insurance Finance division of Infopro Digital. Three questions… three answers!
Who is the Patrimonia fair aimed at and what are its objectives?
Patrimonia is the benchmark annual convention for all wealth management professionals. The public that has gone there every year for the past 29 years is very large: more than 7,500 visitors are expected during the two days of the event. Among them, independent wealth management advisors, specialists in family officeprivate bankers, professional associations, notaries or even lawyers… All have an appointment, in the stands and during workshops and debates, with more than 350 exhibitors: asset management companies, professionals of the real estate, SCPIs, private equity or crypto-assets, fintechIT service providers, credit brokers, etc.
All these wealth advice professionals come to do “their market” at Patrimonia! They review the range of investments that interest their customers and establish contractual relationships with the companies whose products they select. But, Patrimonia is not just a convention. Since its creation, it has also been a place of information and discussion for all the professionals gathered. More than a hundred conferences, workshops and expert debates are on the program this year. Not to mention the mandatory training modules.
What new features are planned for this year?

We have set up thematic tours of the convention. Thus, all the speeches (debates of experts, advice from pros) and the stands of exhibitors in connection with such or such theme (management company, real estate, SCPI, private equity, insurance, etc.) are gathered in routes that can be viewed from the Patrimonia website. Professionals can thus optimize their visit to the convention and identify at a glance all the conferences that interest them.
Another great novelty for 2022: we are going to award the first Patrimonia trophies. Two categories will reward wealth management advisers (development of a young firm, innovative nature) and three trophies will be awarded to CGP partner companies: digital innovation, corporate citizen, best customer relationship with CGPs.
Are the investments of the French more and more sustainable?
Many French people now want to give meaning to the allocation of their savings. To do this, they must refer to certain labels such as, in particular, the SRI label. This will be discussed during our major plenary conferences. One will have the theme ” Real estate and SRI: is the market up to the challenges? The president of the SRI label, Michèle Pappalardo will participate with other real estate experts such as Loïs Moulas (Observatory of sustainable real estate) and Henri Buzy-Cazaux. Another plenary conference will address the theme of “positive finance “. The speakers, Fanny Letier and François Poupee, both experts in private equitywill shed light on the positive effects to be expected from these investments in SMEs.
