After a season in Nanterre, Adam Mokoka returns to the United States. He signed for the Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA).
The French colony is always full in Oklahoma City. Despite the departures of Jaylen Hoard, Olivier Sarr and recently Théo Maledon, the Thunder brought in Ousmane Dieng during the Draft. This Wednesday, the franchise signed another French player: Adam Mokoka (1.93m, 24 years old).
The French fullback/winger returns to the United States where he played between 2019 and 2021. After a season at KK Mega Basket, the European U16 2014 and U18 2016 champion signed for the Chicago Bulls. However, he played little in the NBA and eventually returned to France and his native Paris region, Nanterre. In Betclic ELITE, he was interesting (11.3 points at 39% shooting success, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists for 9.8 evaluation for 28 minutes of play). Rather than continuing his ascent in Europe, Adam Mokoka has chosen to go back across the Atlantic. At the Thunder in a franchise that has been rebuilding for two years, he may have opportunities during the season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced they have waived Abdul Gaddy. The Thunder also announced they have signed Adam Mokoka.
